What is the BexleyMesh Project?

BexleyMesh is a community-built, off-grid communication network for the Bexley, Ohio area. We use affordable, low-power LoRa radios running MeshCore firmware to send text messages and share GPS locations — no cell towers, no internet, 100% free.

Our solar-powered repeater nodes relay messages across the area automatically, creating a resilient mesh that keeps working when traditional infrastructure goes down. Whether you're looking for a fun new way to connect with the community, are interested in exploring radio technologies, or would like another means of communication when other infrastructure is unavailable, the BexleyMesh is easy to join.
